It doesn’t matter if it’s a product, a buildings architecture, or image showcasing the workforce. They all fall under the umbrella of commercial photography.

In the example below, the model, Bani Nikdel, can be seen styled boldly, bringing attention to the structure and texture of the denim outfit.
2. Architectural Photography
Another commercial photography example is architectural photography.
Typically, this is the type of photography used by real estate developers, architects, and construction companies to showcase their work and attract potential customers.
The following photo of the Knauf Iran Commercial building showcases this perfectly by highlighting its bond design and structural details.
3. Corporate Photography
Another example of commercial photography is corporate photography, which involves capturing a company’s professional environment and culture.
Companies of all sizes can use corporate photography. For the most part, it’s used to convey corporate identity and professionalism, which is then shown on their social media, website, or even pitch decks.
We helped Poolad do exactly that over a series of images from their warehouse facilities all the way to their offices.
4. Advertising Photography
Advertising photography is another popular type of commercial photography that aims to create images promoting products, services, or brands.
For the most part, businesses rely on this type of photography to shape how their products are perceived and thought about by the end consumer.
Here, during our project with Laura Oils, we showcase their hair oils in a way that draws attention to their natural, high-quality ingredients.
5. Food Photography
As you can imagine, food photography mainly focuses on presenting food in a mouthwatering way. This is usually used for menus, social media, or restaurant advertising.
Recently, we helped Snappfood achieve just that: photographs of mouthwatering food so customers feel more enticed to order from their food ordering application.
6. Headshots
Headshots can also be an example of commercial photography, and they can be used in multiple ways. They could be used to present a professional image, such as the example below from our project with Poolad.
Or alternatively, they could be used to present specific services or products. For example, Dubai’s top makeup artist, Ahlam Saeed, came to us for headshot photography to showcase her bridal makeup work.
7. Portrait Photography
Portrait photography comes in many different formats. It can be used in the fashion, industrial, and even e-commerce industries.
The main difference between a portrait photo and a non-portrait photo is that a portrait photo is longer in height than it is in width. It’s just a different way to showcase an image.
In the example below, you can see the model, Sana Varshochi, in a portrait image that expresses and emphasizes the pose and textures of her outfit.
8. Drone Photography
Like portrait photography, drone photography can also be used in many industries.
As you can imagine, however, drone photography is a photo made with a drone. Therefore, it can also be classified as aerial photography.
The reason why you would want photography will vary. However, in the below example from Saze Gostar Jam, you can see that we use drone photography to capture the significance of their operations.
9. Product Photography
Another popular form of commercial photography is product photography. This type of photography is all about promoting a product. It can also be used to promote services.
The whole goal of product photography is to present products clearly and attractively, making them appealing to potential customers. It can also be used to visually represent the benefits obtainable from certain products.
Our project below with Poolad Industrial Group was not to showcase the benefits but to show the quality and craftsmanship they put into their “Pet Preforms” accessories.
10. Interior Photography
Interior photography is all about capturing indoor spaces. This could either be for an office building, real estate, or retail spaces.
The whole goal of interior photography is to capture the beauty and elegance of a building’s interior to promote it to the world.
For example, we did some interior photography for Zeytoon Furniture, so he could present his facilities in a professional manner.
11. Industrial Photography
The last example of commercial photography is industrial photography, and, as you can guess, these are photographs in an industrial setting.
The goal of these photos is to show the process behind manufacturers. With these photos, it’s a chance to showcase your operations while promoting craftsmanship.
That’s exactly what we did for Dejpa Bitumen back in 2014. The goal here was to showcase their company culture while promoting their facilities.
