Why the Cheapest Real Estate Photographer Usually Costs More
A large share of MRPS real estate bookings come from agents who first tried a cheaper photographer. The pattern is familiar: an agent books a AED 300 to 500 shoot, the photos come back late, or dark, or distorted, or too few to fill the listing, and the agent books MRPS for the same unit. The property is photographed twice, sometimes three times, and the “cheap” option ends up costing more than a single mid-range booking.

Not on time
Real estate shoots run on tight access windows. An owner hands the key to the agent, the tenant allows two hours, or the sales office has one slot. A photographer who arrives 40 minutes late loses the light, rushes the shoot, or misses the appointment entirely, and the agent has to rebook the access.
Wrong equipment
A cheap wide-angle lens on an entry-level body produces bowed walls, stretched corners and rooms that look nothing like the property. Professional real estate work needs a full-frame camera, a rectilinear wide lens, a tripod and a levelled composition.
"Stand in the corner and shoot wide"
One ultra-wide frame from each corner is not a real estate shoot. Buyers and tenants want to see how the kitchen connects to the living room, the finish of the bathroom, the size of the balcony and what the view actually is. That takes composed shots, not a lens trick.
Bad HDR editing
Either no bracketing at all (blown-out windows, dark rooms) or exaggerated HDR with grey halos and neon colours. Good HDR should be invisible; the room simply looks bright, clean and true.
Unprofessional on site

What Affects the Price of a Real Estate Shoot in Dubai
Property size. The main driver. A studio takes about 45 minutes and 20 photos; a five-bedroom villa takes two hours and 65 photos plus exterior and garden shots.
Photo count and coverage. A quote for “15 photos” and a quote for “40 photos plus amenities” are not the same product. Always ask how many edited photos are included and whether amenities and exteriors count against that number.
Video. Many studios charge AED 300 to 600 for a short walkthrough. At MRPS it is included in every package.
Twilight and night shots. Charged as an add-on across the market (AED 375 to 725 at MRPS depending on unit size), because it means a second visit or an extended shoot at dusk.
Drone, 3D tours and floor plans. Premium extras, usually AED 300 to 1,200 each. Useful for luxury villas and off-plan marketing, rarely needed for a standard apartment listing.
Location. Shoots inside Dubai carry no travel fee. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are covered with a travel charge quoted per job.
