Sandra came to us with a clear list: a set of business profile photos for LinkedIn, her company profile and her website, plus a few frames with more character that she could use for speaking events and social media. We built the session around three looks and three backdrops. A black satin shirt on grey gives the classic, trustworthy profile photo, a white shirt on a warm brown backdrop softens the mood for a friendlier image, and a white dress on deep navy delivers the strongest, most polished frame of the set. For the last part of the session we brought in a simple black chair and let her sit, lean and relax, which produced the editorial style portrait that stands apart from the standard headshot. The light is what makes these frames feel premium: Godox QT600 studio flashes shaped with large modifiers, a key light that sculpts the face, a soft fill that keeps the shadows gentle, and separation light on the hair and shoulders so she lifts away from the dark backdrops. Posture and expression were coached frame by frame, arms crossed with relaxed shoulders, hands together, hands in pockets, a hand on the chin, and a genuine smile between the more serious looks.
