Abdul Rahman Mustapha is a corporate executive chef, and he came to MRPS with reference images of the dark, dramatic style he wanted for his personal brand. Building that scene for real would have meant a full food photography set, with food styling, smoke effects and a long shoot day. We chose a faster route: AI content creation. First we photographed the chef in our Dubai studio, with real lighting and real poses, so his face, hands and expression are his own. Then we used AI to build the scene around him: the wooden table, the burger, the steak, the falling salt and the smoke. After several versions we finished two final images in black and white, one with the burger kept in colour. The result is campaign-style imagery, delivered within days of the shoot. How It Was Made: Studio Portrait Plus AI

The process has two stages. In the studio, the chef posed at table height over a simple stand-in box, wearing his own black chef jacket, while we matched the direction of the light to his reference images. This gave the AI stage a real, sharp portrait to work from. In the second stage we generated the table, the food and the smoke around him. The photos below are three of the studio frames that the final images were built on.

The AI Versions We Explored

AI work is not one click. These are six of the versions we generated on the way to the finals, including a white jacket option and tests with the food in colour or fully monochrome. The client chose the direction, and we finished the two selected images in post-production.

AI Content Creation for Chefs, Restaurants and Brands

This approach suits anyone who needs striking visuals without building a full set: chefs and restaurant owners, personal brands, product launches and social media campaigns. In this project the person was photographed for real, and AI was used only for the parts that would be slow or costly to stage.
