Harvey Cenit opened the first night of Fashion Factor XIV — "The Identity" in Dubai with a single, unforgettable showpiece: an ivory baroque couture gown built on a boned corset bodice, hand-clustered with three-dimensional white and blush roses, falling into a mermaid silhouette with a voluminous ruffled-tulle train. A sculptural rose headpiece, layered pearl chokers and dramatic porcelain beauty completed a Marie-Antoinette-meets-gothic vision, finished with a matching floral lace parasol the model opened mid-runway. We photographed the look from the front, the sculpted corset back and the closing walk, where the Cebuano-Filipino designer, a former Grand Champion of the show, stepped out to escort his model. Based in Dubai and known for couture and bridal, Cenit has dressed international names and built his name on exactly this kind of intricate, hand-worked craftsmanship.
